I offer professional Denver headshots and personal branding photography for clients looking for vibrant, authentic, impactful images of themselves for the company website, an actor/model book, a new branding campaign, or for social media and online dating sites.
Whether you naturally feel comfortable in front of the camera or, like most of us, you don’t, I will work with you to make you feel at ease in front of my lens so that we can capture you in your very best light, making images that will be multi-functional and an upgrade for both your professional networking websites as well as your dating app profile.
Your Denver headshots or personal branding photo shoot can be done practically anywhere along the Front Range: in the office, along the streets of downtown Denver, at Red Rocks or at an open space in Boulder. Headshots vs. personal branding photos: What’s the diff?
I know this gallery says “headshots”, but what I offer is so much more than just simple headshots.
A headshot is usually requested–for business purposes, auditions, or for a corporate profile. There is nothing wrong with a headshot. Sometimes, one simply needs to put a face with a name. Most of us have needed one at some point in our lives, even if it was the dreaded school portrait. But that’s really all that a headshot is. It is a straightforward, head and shoulders closeup. It’s not a vibe shot. It’s not a personal portrait. It doesn’t tell us anything about you other than the color of your eyes and the shape of your face.
Personal Branding Photography
I think that most people who contact me searching for a headshot are actually looking for a personal branding photography shoot–which is a completely different thing.
Personal branding photos are carefully crafted to represent YOU–your vibe, your style, your what and why. They are visual stories about the person behind the brand. These are usually done on location with a natural backdrop instead of the seamless studio background often used for headshots. I’ve done personal branding sessions at people’s homes, businesses, in Rino or downtown Denver, or out in nature (and even a couple times in parking garages… it’s a vibe).
For personal branding sessions, my clients will often bring a change of clothes and might even want photographs in different locations. The images should be creative, fun, and personal. That being said–I ALWAYS sprinkle in some standard headshots during the session, because you never know when you might need one of those “face with a name” shots.
