Hi. I’m Julie, and I’m a Denver boudoir photographer with years of experience photographing women of all shapes, sizes and ages in a fun, liberating, sexy, and affirming way. Your Boudoir Photography Session

Come as you are (no need for a makeover or fancy lingerie if not desired) and expect to have fun and feel alive, sexy, and beautiful in your body. You can change outfits a few times during the shoot so have a few fits ready to go. As for shoot locations, we can do your boudoir session in your bedroom, your kitchen, a hotel room, the woods, a lake, or some other place that tickles your fancy. The world is your oyster.

How long have you been doing boudoir photography?

Not to date myself too much but for almost 20 years.

Where will the boudoir session take place? Do you have a studio or use lighting or props?

I don’t have a studio or use artificial lighting and props. We will do the session on location using natural available light—either in your home, a hotel room or Airbnb rental, or at a private outdoor location along the Front Range of Colorado.

Can you recommend a hotel or outdoor location for a boudoir photo session?

Absolutely. Just let me know what you’re thinking of in regard to vibe and setting (indoors or the great outdoors?) and I’ll provide you with some recommendations.

I’m interested in an outdoor boudoir session. Can you tell me more about how they work?

I have found a number of locations across the Front Range over the years that offer breathtaking natural landscapes (including bodies of water) AND a fair amount of privacy. Early morning or evening shoots are often best to avoid the intense midday sun.

How long does a boudoir photo shoot typically take?

Approximately 2 hours.

How much does your typical boudoir photography session cost?

I’m currently offering a complete boudoir package for $795 for a 1-2 hour, on location shoot in the Denver metro area + edited high resolution images (80-100) + two high quality prints. I intend to raise my prices later this year so book now if my work resonates with you and you want in on this deal before the prices go up! 

Hair and makeup?

I don’t provide hair and makeup. Honestly, I don’t think you need professional hair and makeup before your boudoir shoot because I believe that au naturel is more beautiful and a more honest depiction of YOU. That being said, if you’re still wanting a little “more”, I can certainly recommend some hair stylists and makeup artists in the Denver/Boulder metro area that are fantastic.

Do you do any touch ups or airbrushing?

I will color correct and touch up blemishes.  I don’t, however, airbrush or remove wrinkles, scars, stretch marks or things that one might see as “imperfect”.  If there are things that you’d like airbrushed, removed, or edited, you may choose up to 5 images for me to retouch after you’ve received your digital files.  Additional heavy airbrushing starts at $25 per image.

Are there any places you recommend for printing or photo albums?

Indie Print Lab or Artifact Uprising for printing and or albums.

What would you recommend as far as clothing and lingerie?

Plan for 3 or 4 outfit changes.  I would suggest a bra and panty set, a handful of other panties, and a teddy or another piece of lingerie that feels sexy to you.  I also personally like filmy t-shirts or tank tops, jeans (long or short), button up work shirts and even overalls!  Less is more here.  This shoot is about you, not the lingerie, so feel free to be creative with accessories and undergarments. Of course, we could always do the shoot of you with absolutely nothing on but your birthday suit!

Do you do couple boudoir photo sessions?

I do, but we keep it classy. Please inquire for more info.

How long until I can see my images? Will they be secure and private?

My turnaround time is generally 2 weeks (a bit longer during the busy season).  Images will be available on a private, password protected website. You will be able to download all the images directly from the website to your computer at any time after they are released.
