Between Margie and David and their artistic spirits, and Heather Clark’s (Calluna Events) impeccable taste, this may have been one of the coolest weddings I have ever had the honor of photographing. It was a storybook event held out at a private residence off of Jay road in Boulder. There were goats, pigs, floating orchids and salsa dancing. The day was a reunion of old friends and family, celebrating the truly epic love story of Margie and David (and Davids beautiful daughter Kaya). I don’t want to taint Margie and David’s story with my poor writing, but I will say that it will be one of those love stories that I will be talking about in 20 years. Thank you so much, Margie and David for choosing me to document your love. I wish you all the best….

Check out the floating orchids around the trellis—totally rad!

One of my favorite aspects of this wedding, was that Margie and David had only children as their attendants. 7 little girls on Margie’s side including Kaya, David’s daughter, and 2 strapping young lads. I’m pretty sure that all these little girls felt like this was as much their day, as it was Margie’s!

On top of the 7 little bridesmaids, there were another 4 beautiful flowergirls, making this quite the girl’s party of 12! And boy, did they have a blast!

This photo is one of my favorites from the day. Look at the love in the faces of this threesome!

Did I mention that Margie is a riot?!

The landscape of this Boulder wedding was so stunning, that I wanted to camp in this tent after everybody left…. seriously!

Margie and David even created their own wedding wine—with a label of love by Kaya.
