Katie and Geoff engagement shoot
I knew I liked Katie the minute she walked through my door last fall in her cute little shoes…. she was so bright eyed and excited about her engagement to Geoff….
Today, I got to meet Geoff and I couldn’t be more thrilled about working with these two! They have so much fun with each other and couldn’t be a better fit. (Although Geoff is a good foot taller than Katie)!
We started out our shoot bowling at lucky strike and ended up in a parking garage…. It was so much fun!
We basically ran out of light and ended up in a parking garage because that was the only place I could find enough ambient light to really shoot anything of interest. We seriously spent like an hour in there! It was great! Have I mentioned how much I love my D3??? I took all these these shots at 12500 ISO without a flash!

It’s 5:00 in the morning (sounds like a great opening line for a hit song) and nothing else could get me out of bed this early. Katie called last night after finishing the shoot to let us know what a great time they’d had with you; she did say “they” which is quite a compliment since Geoff had to miss the 76ers victory over Detroit! You captured their playfulness and their moods so very well. The photos are beautiful. And you’re absolutely right, these two are competitive…see you in June. We’ll bring the popcorn and Junior Mints.

What a totally unique shoot! Amazing job. I am so jazzed you got the D3! They did a great job of coordinating their wardrobe. I love Katie’s pinks. Is the photobooth still working in Lucky Strike? We went there to take some cool shots, and the booth was dead as a doornail. No es justo!
Wow! These photos perfectly capture the love that exudes between these two. What a perfect setting for such a fun couple. Katie looks beautiful as always in every shot but what a surprise that Geoff is so photogenic. Can’t wait for the wedding to arrive, there is no doubt that the photos will take our breath away!
