I love my husband, Paris, hot black coffee, baths, popcorn and junior mints, sunday afternoons when I’m not working, long walks on a cloudy day, rain, fog, snow, Christmas time, the spa, sweatpants, HBO, airports, airport bars, bloody Mary’s, old chairs, Totinos frozen party pizzas, the color blue, Joni Mitchell, Counting Crows, Radiohead, the subway, the perfect fitting jeans, diptique candles, my old 1970 maverick, my Dad’s farm, the smell of my Grandmas house, junk cereal, afternoon naps, laying in the grass, planting tulips, Target, a good book, the time to read a good book, the beach, the smell of baby coppertone sunscreen, down pillows, , arrowhead hunting with my Dad, hotdogs and beer, sleeping in, a long swim, using other people’s toiletries, expensive wine glasses, expensive wine, wine in the box, getting lost when I have all the time in the world, road trips with my friend Marie and Tracy, anything by Baz Luhrmann, slippers, school supplies (i still buy them every year even though i’m not in school), the E nglish country side in the winter, dangly earrings... |

Sara and Gregg
October 9, 2008
•Weddings
Sara and Gregg’s wedding in Keystone was traditionally and symbolically, a continuation of the wedding that took place back in January…. This was the second time that I had the honor of photographing Sara and Gregg’s wedding. The first ceremony took place at Sara’s parents home in City Park back on January 12th—it was truly the most intimate wedding that I have ever had the opportunity to photograph—I think there were all of twelve people there. Needless to say, I was very excited to get to reunite with these two families once again this fall, and participate in the continuation of this union—this time with all of their friends and family. I want to make note that Sara and Gregg have the greatest families—rarely do I get to work with two families who embrace each other like the Stracks and Seligs do—their support system is truly a treasure.
Thank you Sara and Gregg, for once again allowing me to play a part in this incredibly beautiful time in your lives…. you have truly taken a place in my heart and I wish you all the happiness and health that this life has to offer.

-What a beautiful couple you are in every way. My two favorites are the one of you two reading your vows – the intensity of your love is photographed just as I remember it in my mind & the one with you two cuddled safe together under the tapestry.
What an amazing celebration it was – I was honored to be there and to be a part of your lives! Love always, Melissa
WOW! It could not have been more breathtaking …the bride and groom …the vows …the setting …I’m crying again!
-I just love the guts out of your work ma’am! You are just fantastic!
