I had the pleasure of photographing Wesley today to document his first birthday… What a little riot he is—-spry, sharp and simply adorable. He’s like a little man! There was no use in trying to get him to sit still for a “portrait”, so we just played for an hour. It was fantastic. Happy Birthday, Wesley!
This shot is a perfect picture of how the shoot went—-we couldn’t even get Wesley to sit still in his mom’s arms! But I love that about him!
I got to hang out with Andrea and Brian today—first at the Walnut room where we each did a shot of tequila, and then meandering around the old Denver warehouse district where we grabbed some of these shots. Andrea and Brian were so great to work with—especially at this funky location. They seemed very at home and comfortable– not only in this environment, but also in each other….. It was one of those shoots where I walk away and can’t believe I get to do this for a living.
I had the pleasure of photographing Margie and David’s engagement photos today out in Boulder. It was a perfect Colorado afternoon for a shoot—the sun was bright, the sky was blue, and we had the most amazing landscape to work with! Margie and David plan on getting married out on this property next summer and are actually just visiting for a few days. I came over to check out the space and to meet the two of them. They’re absolute darlings and I simply can’t wait for their ceremony next season…. Stay tuned!
There are all sorts of adorable animals out at this home…. chicken, miniature horses, a couple of the sweetest Burmese mountain dogs and two goats! I had the idea of bringing Margie and David out into where the goats were, thinking that the goats would play and I could get a cute little. Unfortunately, this is it! The goat actually yawned! No, he is not bahhing. And I think Margie and David were also about to fall asleep, so we moved on with the shoot… I just thought this image was hilarious!
Isn’t he so adorable? I seriously want a miniature goat for a pet. I don’t think that would fly in Denver…
I love the authenticity of this image…. it was just a sweet, still moment.
