Photography Blog | The Life and Times of Julie Harris Photo Blog | Photography Blogs. Welcome! This is where I show my work and write about what stirs me. Mary Ellen Mark says, "Reality is always extraordinary". I live by this. I'm a documentary photographer with a thirst for love, life and truth... a true bohemian at heart. In an industry saturated with trendy processing techniques and emphasis on style instead of substance, I strive to make honest images that are full of emotion and reality. Thank goodness that it’s winter and I have plenty of space on my blog—-I just couldn’t narrow down these images! There were so many great moments–and Julie and Peter are just so darn beautiful!
I was with Julie and Pete on Saturday for close to 10 hours after a 3 1/2 drive up I-70, but I don’t think time has ever flown by so fast…. I had a blast—and what a party! I stayed through the last song, which you’ll never guess what it was—”Pour Some Sugar on Me”! ( just an inside joke for those who read my blurbit’s on photographik)…
Julie and Pete, you make such a wonderful couple—you’re both so and sweet and gracious—and I love the way that you look at each other! I’m so excited for what your future holds—Have a wonderful honeymoon in Thailand!
Julie had her niece, Taylor as one of her 3 flowergirls—what an amazing little girl! I’m pretty sure she thought I was the devil by the end of the night for taking her picture, but I loved her strong little personality!
I love this shot of Katie and Morgan (the other two flowergirls) consoling Taylor after she fell off her chair… awwww
I grabbed this shot just moments before Julie walked down the aisle—-she was sharing how important her girlfriends are, and will remain to her—amen to that!
…is this not the cutest ring bearer ever??
I love this image—so quirky!
Champagne flowed at the reception and people gushed with great toasts—-some hilarious, and others quite moving…

JULIE! I LOVE these - the crazier part is that I've worked with a lot of these people back in the day back in Grand Lake - how lucky they were to have you!!! and yes, you're right, cutest ring bear ever! great catch - love the contrast of the ring pillow and the stuffed animal... rockstar you are!
