Julie was given a camera at age seven and since then has had 'a burdening passion "to use that camera to free herself and her artistic subjects from the constraints of time and space." Julie graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder where she was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a Bachelor of English -Creative Writing.
